Matt and Amanda are the loving married couple who founded MMD Events in 2005 after moving to Tampa from San Diego.  Rebels by nature, Amanda and Matt buck convention by keeping these simple rules in mind: love God, love each other, and get 8 hours of sleep every night!  Their need for privacy is over-ridden by their need to nurture people – to help them see and experience the best in themselves.  This explains why Matt and Amanda are industry leaders – because they share knowledge – both personal and professional, and they don’t doubt for a minute that it is the best advice – because it is.

To them there is nothing more exciting than finishing an amazing event and knowing that they have another one to go do the next day.  It is a huge privilege to have a job that is so riveting that they can’t get enough of their own stuff and can’t wait to see it come to life.  Their favorite wedding is definitely the next wedding – their favorite design – the one they haven’t dreamed of yet.  They believe that investing in the community is fun and let’s face it, their charity work isn’t digging new sewer drains – it’s always a party, just sometimes they are just doing it for free and to make the world a better place.  Two intelligent people need one very intelligent dog.  Batly was chosen randomly among the throngs of squeaking, barking little ankle biters – and she is arguably the best, smartest, most loving dog in the world – you are told this because you need to know that Matt and Amanda choose the best – instinctively – if you don’t believe it – go meet their dog.
